Dottie is the youngest daughter
of Reverend and Sister M. B. Carr, previously of Panama City, Florida,
but now residing in heaven with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
She was the wife of Reverend Lovell Wilson, the
administrator of the Maranatha Church of God; the mother of eight and
the grandmother of sixteen. But most of all she was a child of the almighty
God.
Dottie was divinely called into God's ministry
in December 1989 while living in Atlanta, Georgia.
She studied at the River of Life Bible College
in Atlanta, and was licensed to preach the gospel through the Church of
God. She studied for eight years under the greatest teacher of all, the
Holy Spirit, before God began to use her to minister His Word to His people.
Dottie's` greatest desire was that all people,
regardless of race, creed, or social-economic status would be able to hear
God's word with boldness and clarity so that their lives would permanently be changed
for His glory. Dottie is missed tremendously, but has left behind a strong vision and legacy of people touched by her anointing and willingness to live for God at all cost.
If you want to get to know Reverend Wilson
just remember her words:
"I love the Lord with all of my heart; that my life doesn't belong
to me; that I am not my own, I've been bought with a price, the precious
blood of Jesus Christ; And for this reason I will speak the Word of
God with boldness as He gives it to me, not adding, not taking away,
not entertaining, not tickling ears, but rightly dividing the Word of
truth.
All to the Glory of God!
